‘Pushing The Limits’


More aboriginal infighting has resulted in arrests, as a group of self-styled ‘warriors’ tried to interfere with a legally-operating fish farm – a venture supported by their own tribe’s elected leadership. Last week, a different tribe issued an ‘eviction’ notice to another legal and licensed operation. ‘Trouble In Paradise’


“The extraordinary decision by a Haida clan to strip two of its hereditary chiefs of their titles for secretly supporting ‘Enbridge Inc.’s proposed ‘Northern Gateway’ pipeline is being closely watched by ‘First Nations’ across Canada.ERBLTroubleInParadise800x800“The rebuke, which was delivered last week in an elaborate ceremony witnessed by more than 500 people, came as the Haida ‘nation’ {a ‘nation’ of 4,635 people} rejected what they say is a growing trend by companies to enlist the support of hereditary chiefs as a way of claiming broad ‘First Nations’ support.

“On Aug. 15, members of the clan stripped Carmen Goertzen and Francis Ingram of their titles, effectively removing them as representatives of two houses, the Yahgulaanaas Janaas of Daadens, and the Iitjaaw Yaahl Naas. ‘Who Owns British Columbia?’


“We, the {1,381} Musqueam people openly and publicly declare and affirm {to the 3 million people of the Vancouver Lower Mainland} that we hold aboriginal title to {your} land, and ‘aboriginal rights’ to exercise use of {your} land, the sea and fresh waters, and all their resources within that territory occupied and used by our ancestors…”

“Vancouver city council formally acknowledged on June 25, 2014 that the land on which the city is built actually belongs to three local ‘First Nations’.

“But landowners shouldn’t worry, according to Mayor Gregor Robertson.” 

Rather than accept the Mayor’s assurances, we at END RACE BASED LAW would like to ask: what exactly does “aboriginal title” mean? Does the city support this ‘First Nations’ definition:

“We are the true owners of British Columbia. The Indians across the province own everything — the rivers, the trees, the bugs, the animals. You name it. Subsurface rights, the air, the rain, the whole shot. That’s what we mean when we say we have aboriginal title to the land.”

“puts into question future development in the northeast”.

‘Shooting Ourselves in the Foot…’


With an Aboriginal Industry constantly taking economic projects to court, the effects of Race Based Law are being felt more and more: 

“Canada’s business climate is becoming increasingly uncertain and we see this as a problem.

“Prudent investors look for certainty and stability when they shop their dollars around. If Canada wants to attract the investment it needs to sustain a robust economy, it must present a vastly different picture from the one it’s displaying now.

“If Canada becomes known for a business environment subject to continuing and extended government approval delays, course-changes, {court challenges} and not keeping up its end of the bargain, potential investors will take their business elsewhere, hurting everyone in Canada. ERBLShootingOurselvesInTheFoot800x800“The most recent illustration popped up right in our backyard. The Federal Court of Appeal last month overturned the federal government’s approval of the Enbridge ‘Northern Gateway’ pipeline project… The Court found that the federal government had not ‘adequately consulted’ with ‘First Nations’ groups…

“Based on previous approval from the federal government, other groups involved had, in good faith, been investing time, energy and money, upholding their commitments and doing their part. ‘The Chilcotin Massacre’


“I have cousins in several Indian bands and am proud of that connection, and am equally proud of my ancestors who came from all over Europe seeking a better life. But it wasn’t an easy road… ERBLRewritingHistory--TheChilcotinMassacre800x800“My great-great grandfather…was murdered by Chilcotin (Tsilhqot’in) Indian bandits in 1864. It’s been a bone of contention with me that Donald McLean’s killers were hailed as heroes by latter-day Chilcotin politicians who demanded an apology from the B.C. government for their trial and execution.

“It vexes me even more that they got what they wanted from Christy Clark in 2014. Many years ago, when I attended an assembly of Chilcotin chiefs held to demand that apology, I stood up and suggested that a good first step toward their goal would be for them to first apologize for the murder of my ancestor by their forebears.

‘Is Canada Coming Unravelled?’


Most Canadians are blissfully unaware that many aboriginal leaders are attempting to create separate, independent ‘nations’ {countries} within the borders of Canada — ‘nations’ that would ignore Canadian law while still being subsidized by the Canadian people: ERBLIsCanadaComingUnravelled(2016)800x800“The proposed citizenship law forms a central component of a broader initiative which seeks to develop a self-governing Anishinabek ‘Nation’.”

Canadian aboriginals as a “third order of government” — Federal, Provincial and aboriginal — was rejected for inclusion in the 1982 Constitution, rejected in the five federal-provincial conferences held on this topic, and rejected by the Canadian people in the 1992 Charlottetown Referendum.
