‘Manitoba Chiefs Defend Discrimination’

The creation of discriminatory hydro rates is being defended by Manitoba chiefs. They are not opposed to discrimination in principle — only when it works against them:

“The Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC) is responding to news that Manitoba Hydro is asking the Manitoba Court of Appeal to overturn the Public Utilities Board (PUB) decision to create a new ‘First Nation’ {‘aboriginal community’} on Reserve’ residential rate class…  Continue reading ‘Manitoba Chiefs Defend Discrimination’

‘Government Playing Favourites’

Looks like we not only have the government discriminating again, but also some political insider favouritism:

“After the federal fisheries minister announced a new licence for an important clam fishery would be awarded to a partnership of ‘indigenous’ groups from across Atlantic Canada, the government is facing fresh criticism over how it awarded the licence, and for the ‘Liberals’ ties to the winning bidder. ‘Not Even A Slap On The Wrist’

So, police determine that an ‘anti-pipeline’ protest trailer is illegally parked in front of an oil storage facility. Protesters object to an already-approved expansion of a 60-year-old pipeline. Police leave the trailer alone for 2 months before finally arriving to enforce the law. A protester climbs on top of the trailer to stop it from being towed away. It works. The police go away {!?!}…

The police come back the next day and crowbar their way into the trailer, where they arrest 2 protesters. They are at the station for less than an hour when they are released — without charges! {Starting to sound like Caledonia…}

Back at the trailer, police negotiate with the roof-sitter and end up promising that if she comes down, they won’t enforce the law and tow the trailer away {!?!}. She agrees and comes down. Police go away…

Don’t companies deserve law enforcement for the amount of tax revenue that they generate? How are police going to deal with the many protests and illegal blockades that are promised by pipeline opponents?

Yet another example of unequal law enforcement – and unequal law – under Race Based Law… Continue reading ‘Not Even A Slap On The Wrist’

‘Unequal Justice’

“The lawyer for a drunk driver who killed a family of four in Saskatoon last year has defended ‘alternative justice’ measures after the bereaved family expressed outrage that the driver was no longer in a penitentiary.

erblunequaljustice800x800

“In January, Catherine McKay received a sentence of 10 years for killing Chanda and Jordan Van de Vorst and their children, Kamryn and Miguire, while she was driving impaired.

“Jordan’s father, Lou Van de Vorst, expressed outrage this week after McKay was transferred to a healing lodge for ‘indigenous’ {‘Siberian settler’} women one month after she received her sentence.

“We’re hurt. We’re angry. We’re upset,” said Van de Vorst. “To me the punishment doesn’t fit the crime. Something’s not right there.” {!}

‘Caving In To Bullying’

Aboriginal pressure has bullied a federal Cabinet Minister into backing away from his support for enforcing the law:

‘Carr ‘sorry’ for saying military could be called in against pipeline protesters’

erblcavingintobullying800x800

“Natural Resources Minister Jim Carr said Tuesday he didn’t choose his words carefully when saying the military could be called in against protesters fighting the expansion of two pipelines the Trudeau government approved last week.

“Carr told reporters in Ottawa he regrets the comments he made Thursday to room of business leaders in Edmonton.  Continue reading ‘Caving In To Bullying’

Exploiting the racial bias in Canadian sentencing:
‘Man behind violent jewelry store heist delays sentencing at last minute by telling court his mother is Cherokee’

erblconningthesystem800x800

“Just when he was supposed to be sentenced for a violent jewelry store heist, Wallace Piercey surprised everyone with a branch on his family tree.

“Piercey’s mother, Ontario Court Justice Michael O’Dea was told, is Cherokee — a fact he hadn’t told his defence lawyer, the Crown or the probation officer who wrote his pre-sentence report.

“That little detail was enough to require a so-called ‘Gladue’ report, a specialized pre-sentence report {only} for ‘indigenous’ {‘Siberian settler’} people. Continue reading ‘Conning The System’

‘A Licence To Break The Law’

Canadians are puzzled by police refusal to arrest aboriginal road, rail and pipeline blockaders, or government office occupiers. However, this two-tiered, racially-biased policing can be traced back at least 40 years. Here’s an analysis of some 1970s’ lawlessness produced by an Aboriginal Industry activist and anti-Canadian who is, of course, employed by a taxpayer-supported Canadian university:

erblalicencetobreakthelaw800x800

“When approximately thirty members of the ‘Idle No More’ and ‘Black Lives Matter’ movements entered the ‘Indigenous’ and Northern Affairs (‘I’NAC) office in Toronto on April 13, 2016…the group, calling itself ‘#OccupyINAC’ was drawing on long-established political strategies.

“‘Indigenous’ peoples have occupied Indian Affairs offices before.  Continue reading ‘A Licence To Break The Law’

The Folly Of ‘Gladue’

“Media reports have described Christine Mequish as “among the most dangerous women in the country”, a convicted killer with a record that includes 25 violent crimes since 1984. Last April, following an armed robbery conviction in La Tuque, Que., the 58-year-old was declared a dangerous offender — just the fourth Canadian woman ever designated as such. ERBLTheFollyOfGladue800x800

But while noting her “brutal behaviour” and the likelihood that she will again cause “death, serious abuse or serious psychological harm to other people”, the sentencing judge stopped short of ordering the indeterminate sentence requested by the Crown.

The reason for the lighter sentence: Mequish is an aboriginal Continue reading The Folly Of ‘Gladue’

‘Undermining Public Safety’

Here’s a classic example of how RACE BASED LAW works to everyone’s detriment…ERBLUnderminingPublicSafety800x800

“Last Saturday night, Darrell Moosomin walked away from prison.

“Classified as a dangerous offender, the 54-year-old had been serving an indeterminate sentence in a minimum-security ‘First Nations’ Healing Lodge in central Alberta. Over the weekend, he was granted permission to attend a powwow ceremony under the supervision of an elder.

“He was reported missing at 8:45 p.m. that night…” Continue reading ‘Undermining Public Safety’

‘Police Target Biker-Mohawk Criminal Organization’

“The ‘Surete du Quebec’ say nearly 60 arrests were made Wednesday morning, targeting biker gangs and what they’re calling ‘aboriginal organized crime outfits’, on charges of selling contraband tobacco, drugs, and money laundering. ERBLMohawkTobaccoAndOrganizedCrime800x800“Raids took place in residences and shops, mainly located in the greater Montreal, the Laurentians, Lanaudiere, Monteregie, and on Kahnawake in Quebec, as well as on Six Nations in Ontario.  Continue reading ‘Mohawks Using Race Based Law To Shelter Organized Crime’
