‘Misrepresenting The Past’

Here is a classic example of the Aboriginal Industry at work. First, you falsify the historical record; then, you claim damages for the alleged ‘injustice’. The actual facts never seem to carry much weight. From 2015:

“Councillors in Prince George, B.C., have voted in favour of renaming a civic park to commemorate a ‘dark past’ with a local ‘First Nation’ {aboriginal community}.

“In a 8-1 vote, council decided on Monday night to change the name of ‘Fort George Park’ to ‘Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park’. The name aims to acknowledge the history of the park, where, in 1913, the Lheidli T’enneh village was burned to make way for a railway and the city.
{An unfair characterization. See below…} Continue reading ‘Misrepresenting The Past’

‘More Threats Of Violence’

Here we have the Toronto Globe and Mail providing a platform for more threats from two of the most anti-Canadian, violence-inciting aboriginal Chiefs, who, if they weren’t protected by aboriginal privilege, would be sitting in jail cells pretending to be martyrs:

“The ‘Treaty Alliance Against Tar {Oil} Sands Expansion’ is made up of 150 ‘indigenous’ ‘nations’ in Canada and the United States… ‘Indigenous’ ‘nations’ are supported by a…network of support from allied Canadians who understand the existential threat that humanity faces from climate change {?} and who are ready to stand up against the injustices still carried out today against ‘indigenous’ people. More than 20,000 people have signed the ‘Coast Protectors’ pledge to do whatever it takes to stop the pipeline Continue reading ‘More Threats Of Violence’

‘A Racism Of Intelligence’

“It’s seen as lacking sensitivity to question ‘traditional knowledge’…
Science puts everything into question.”

“Quebec deputy minister Patrick Beauchesne wrote that Ottawa’s intention to systematically place ‘indigenous’ {‘primitive’} knowledge on equal footing with scientific data

“could prove problematic in cases where ‘indigenous’ knowledge and science are found to be in contradiction”.

“He said criteria should be established to evaluate the accuracy of the ‘traditional knowledge’…
{Sensible fellow. So few of them left…}

“…When the letter recently became public, it provoked an outraged reaction from Quebec ‘indigenous’ leaders, an apology from two Quebec cabinet ministers and, this week, an accusation of racism from a University of Ottawa law professor {Of course…}. Continue reading ‘A Racism Of Intelligence’

‘Illegal Protests Bring Results’

Government should never reward illegal protest. It invites more of the same and encourages disrespect for the law. As well, the federal government needs to remind aboriginal leadership that the waters off B.C.’s coast are Canada’s territorial waters…

“Talks with senior B.C. government officials were prompted by {illegal} fish-farm occupations last fall.”

“A B.C. provincial advisory council is recommending that fish farm companies be required to have agreements in place with local ‘First Nations’ {‘aboriginal communities’} before the province approves any new or replacement tenures…

“Protesters have {illegally} occupied multiple fish farms in the Broughton Archipelago over the past year {See below}, claiming they are operating in ‘First Nations’ ‘traditional territories’ without their consent.
{These, of course, are Canadian territorial waters…} Continue reading ‘Illegal Protests Bring Results’

‘Opening the Books’

A courageous woman from the Onion Lake Band in Saskatchewan, with the help of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, has won a court ruling that effectively restores the ‘First Nations’ Financial Transparency Act – at least for her Band.
Congratulations, Charmaine…

CTF Prairie Director Todd McKay and Charmaine Stick. (Kevin Martel--980 CJME)

“A Saskatchewan ‘First Nation’ is being forced to reveal how it spends its money after a legal battle that’s played out over the last year.

“The Saskatchewan Court of Appeal upheld a June 15, 2017, ruling from Court of Queen’s Bench which ordered Onion Lake Cree ‘Nation’ — {a ‘nation’ of 5,032 people} situated about 50 kilometres north of Lloydminster — to publish basic financial information. Continue reading ‘Opening the Books’

‘Pope Says Nope’

“We will keep working…on the path to {one-way} ‘reconciliation’ because we know taking responsibility for past mistakes and asking forgiveness is something that is core to our values as Canadians.”
–Justin Trudeau

“Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said today he’s disappointed with the Pope’s decision to not apologize for the Catholic Church’s role in Canada’s residential schools and the trauma experienced by {some of} their students.

{The Canadian government and aboriginal leadership have never thanked the Pope on behalf of all those aboriginal students who were grateful for their education in Catholic-run schools.
Then, there’s the fact that Pope Benedict already apologized – see below…} Continue reading ‘Pope Says Nope’

‘One-way Reconciliation: The Gift That Keeps On Giving’

The {Partial} Truth and {One-way} Reconciliation Commission already cost over $60 million. Now, Canada is going to be billed for a new ‘Reconciliation Board’, as well as a ‘National Council for Reconciliation’ AND a ‘National Reconciliation Trust’!
Hold on to your wallets…

“It will be our conscience”,

Crown-‘Indigenous’ Relations Minister Carolyn Bennett said about the council, at a Dec. 14 press conference on Parliament Hill.
{? Did Canadians ask for a government-appointed ‘conscience’?} Continue reading ‘One-way Reconciliation: The Gift That Keeps On Giving’

Video of ERBL post images 2018

Gerry Gagnon has done a tremendous amount of work in research and posting, so I, Michele Tittler, put together a video of the images of his posts, to thank him. Some are my posts, but he has done the majority of the research and posts the last few years. We are doing live streams and talking more in the future, but the daily news feed and Feature Stories will continue.

Thank you, Gerry!

‘Mi’kmaq Bullies Get Their Way’

“This is not the way to run a city, based on threats of violence.”
–Halifax city councillor.

“A recent decision by the Halifax City Council to tear down their own city’s history is but the latest example of a nation eager to dismantle its founders. Mayor Mike Savage and the city councillors who have voted to remove the statue of Edward Cornwallis have betrayed their duty to Haligonians and Canadians.
{The statue has since been taken down…} Continue reading ‘Mi’kmaq Bullies Get Their Way’
